A HeadshotPro alternative for India, built for dating apps

Prices checked 16 August 2026

HeadshotPro is a professional headshot product priced in dollars. If what you actually need is dating profile photographs and you are paying with an Indian card, the fit is worse than the price difference suggests.

What HeadshotPro is

HeadshotPro sells AI-generated professional headshots on a one-time basis, with no subscription: on its own pricing page, $29 for 30 headshots, $39 for 50, and $59 for 70, alongside team plans and a stated money-back realism guarantee. It is a well-established product and the headshots are its whole purpose — LinkedIn profiles, company pages, speaker bios.

Where it fits badly for this job

It is optimised for the wrong photograph

A professional headshot is deliberately neutral: plain background, formal clothing, controlled studio lighting, one framing repeated. That neutrality is the point on LinkedIn and a liability on a dating app, where a profile made of studio portraits reads as a corporate directory entry. Dating photographs need variety — different places, different clothes, something happening.

Dollar pricing costs an Indian buyer more than it appears to

At roughly ₹84 to the dollar, $29 to $59 converts to about ₹2,400 to ₹5,000. But an Indian card usually adds a foreign-currency markup and often a separate cross-border fee, at your bank's rate rather than the mid-market rate. The amount you are billed is higher than the converted figure, and you learn the exact number afterwards.

The scenes are not Indian

Backgrounds, styling and wardrobe in products built for a mainly Western professional market reflect that market. For a profile meant to be seen by people in Indian cities, that is a subtle but constant mismatch.

An honest limit on this comparison. Everything above is a difference in what the two products are for, how they bill, and what they promise — all of it checkable. What this page does not tell you is whose photographs come out better. Matchframe has not run a published side-by-side test, so making that claim would mean asking you to take a company's word about its own product. Judge the sample images on each site yourself.

When HeadshotPro is the better choice

If what you need is a LinkedIn photograph, a headshot for a company page, or a formal portrait for a speaker profile, buy a headshot product. That is the job it was built for and a dating-photo product is the wrong tool for it. The two are not substitutes in either direction.
