AI dating and headshot photo apps in India: what they cost in rupees

Prices checked 16 August 2026

Almost every AI photo generator in this category prices in US dollars. Here is what the main ones cost, converted, and what an Indian card actually pays on top.

How these figures were arrived at. Listed prices were read from each product's own pricing page on 16 August 2026. Rupee figures are approximate conversions at roughly ₹84 to the dollar, rounded, and are shown for comparison only. Prices change; check the source before you buy. Aragon's tiers were not readable from its pricing page at the time of checking, so no figure is invented here.

The cost that does not appear on the pricing page

A dollar price is not what an Indian card is charged. Paying in USD usually adds a foreign-currency markup from your bank or card network, and many Indian cards add a separate cross-border transaction fee on top. The rate you are billed at is also your bank's, not the mid-market rate quoted above.

The practical effect is that a $59 product does not land at the converted figure in the table — it lands somewhat above it, and you do not find out exactly how much until the statement arrives. A product billed in rupees has no such gap: the number on the page is the number on the statement.

Headshots and dating photos are not the same product

This distinction gets lost in most comparisons. HeadshotPro, InstaHeadshots and Aragon are built primarily for professional headshots — LinkedIn, company directories, speaker pages. That means suits, neutral studio-style backgrounds, and a corporate register.

Those are the wrong photographs for a dating profile. A dating set needs range — somewhere you actually go, something you actually do, clothes you would actually wear on a Saturday — and a headshot product is not built to produce it. It is worth knowing which one you are buying.

Where Matchframe sits

Matchframe is India-first and dating-first: prices in rupees with no conversion step, one-time packs of 20, 50 or 100 photos, and scenes built for dating apps rather than for a corporate directory. If you do not download your pack you are refunded, claimed within two days of delivery by writing to support. Uploaded photographs and the identity trained from them are deleted within 30 days.

What Matchframe does not claim is that its photographs are better than anyone else's on this page. That is a comparison nobody should take on trust from a company's own website, including this one.
